Today brings a combination of film stills, behind-the-scenes images, and character posters for the latest addition to Marvel’s roster of heroes, offering a look at Cumberbatch’s Sorcerer Supreme in the making. Earlier this year, I had an opportunity to visit the London sets of the film where I got a look at all the mystical wonders Doctor Strange has in store. And while the new set of images doesn’t completely capture the sense of vast world-building I witness on the set, they do a pretty good job of demonstrating the film’s wide-ranging spectacle, from Strange’s origins in your everyday Manhattan setting through the wonders of the Kamar-Taj.

The first piece of big news is that the Venom movie starring Tom Hardy will feature Carnage! With rumors of an R-rating for that movie, Carnage is a great fit. And speaking of Spider-Man spinoffs, The Hollywood Reporter says that Sony is also working on movies for Kraven the Hunter and Mysterio.
