French website AlloCine caught up with Phoenix to talk about his new movie Don’t Worry, He Won’t Get Far on Foot, and asked about those Joker movie rumors.
“What movie about The Joker?,” Phoenix asked. When the interviewer elaborated about the rumors, Phoenix replied “wow, that sounds amazing. I have no idea what you’re talking about.” You can watch the exchange in the video below.
