The CGI, when she is walking towards camera & coming out of cloak (& you can just see her head, to begin with) is absolutely atrocious. As a whole it looks like a cheap 80’s budget flick, shot with a slightly clearer lens.

Atrocious? Please. SyFy channel CGI is atrocious. This was okay.

Beside the fact you are comparing a TV company to a major motion picture, the fact that it is a major motion picture (one that involves a lot of cgi), means it should be better than “ok”.

The Major as depicted in the original Ghost in the Shell movie was a female cyborg with a mostly androgynous face. She didn’t look Japanese or even Asian.
