It was not entirely CG. The wireframes visible in this reel we for object position mapping mostly to render whole scene. AFAIK most batmobile shots were practical but composed into background and enhanced with VFX digitally.

Even the freaking water was CGI. Damn it looks real!

This movie made its visual effects appear so effortless that I don’t think most people even realized that they were visual effects. Very disappointing that so few people have acknowledged the astonishing level of craft on display in this film.
