BvS was called pretentious because of how Snyder executed the film.
Mangold wanted this movie to have a black and white version from the start, and it really lends itself well to that format. BvS having a black and white version would make no fucking sense, whatsoever. -

Since it’s been announced it will be included in the blu-ray, and the blu-ray will hit stores a week after this, I don’t see this just as a ploy to make money. It’s just a way to catch this version in the best way to watch a movie. If I lived in the US, I’d definitely go see it. Too bad us Europeans get shit, though.
