Spider-Man: Homecoming opened to $117 million this weekend, a healthy increase over the last movie, The Amazing Spider-Man 2, which made $91 million in its debut. Internationally, the Marvel and Sony movie made $140 million for a global total of $257 million.

Could’ve sworn I remember abkinxoc bragging about a story saying this would make $135 million. Still, it’s impressive enough for him to make a mess of his pants and his computer screen.
Because according to “fans” like him, money, not quality, is the most important thing. Like WWE, Marvel is probably making more money than ever, yet creatively isn’t really doing anything outside the box.
