Actually she pronounces it correctly. It’s tricky because it has 2 pronunciations and the way she says it is the medical pronunciation. Considering that they are all scientists and the film has some Ultimate universe influence which had the symbiote as a medical cure of cancer.

Only problem is how the horrible sister from Parks and Rec says ‘symbiote’. Did nobody tell her the right way to say that word?

Me too. She says “Sim bye oat” though, which I can understand if you’re thinking of it like “antibiotic”, but it’s definitely a pronunciation I’ve never heard before this, and so it still sounds weird and distracting.

Both work actually. She says it the way it’s pronounce in the medical dictionary. Considering she’s a scientist or doctor it makes perfect sense.
