Jared Leto, who played The Joker in Suicide Squad, is looking to add another comic book character to his resume.
The Oscar-winning actor has signed on to star in Morbius, Sony’s latest entry into its Marvel-based, Spider-Man-centric universe of characters.

Morbius was a Vampire who was an ally of Spider-man after initially being his enemy*. He was initially a student at Empire State University where he studied bats. Very similar to Man Bat, actually.

No. He tried his own take on jack nicholsons “gangster/king of Gotham” joker role and tried WAY TO HARD to incorporate heath leger’s little quirks. He failed. Miserably. Just like the rest of DC films

Wrong. He wasnt going for either.. He was doing his own thing and following the comics which he did very well. Just like the rest of the DC movies.

Wrong dc sucks. Use this analogy: of a good movie is an Arsenal of weapons, marvels got an armada and plenty of missiles and such. Dc has one missile: Wonder Woman. And no silo to launch it from. I mean the cover of Batman vs Superman has Wonder Woman right in the center cuz that’s the only good thing about its cinematic universe. Same as the justice league cover.

The fact he wasn’t acting. He was reading lines. He didn’t care about his portrayal of Batman. He looks like an older Bruce Wayne, sure. But that’s literally all he’s got going for him.

The hell makes you say he wasn’t acting? He definitely was acting. You can see it in his mannerisms and performance that he was embodying an older Bruce Wayne.

No he was definitely reading lines. I can’t see much difference between his daredevil role and Batman. Which is pathetically sad. Two totally different characters and yet portrayed the same

No he was most certainly not reading lines. If you can’t see the substantial difference between both those roles, then no offense, that’s your problem. Their portrayals were nowhere near the same. You sure you’re not focusing on his voice rather than his actual performance?
