Billy Dee Williams is returning to a galaxy far, far away.
The actor, who famously played the galactic gambler Lando Calrissian, will reprise the role for Star Wars: Episode IX, the next Star Wars installment from Lucasfilm.

I wonder why… perhaps because they killed off all of their major characters that fans care about, except for Leia, who won’t be in this film, (RIP, Carry). TLJ grossed 700 million less than TFA. Why would anyone watch Ep 9 when it’ll only feature characters barely anyone actually cares about? They know this and that’s why Lando is in it. Thing is though, Lando’s character isn’t nearly interesting enough and I highly doubt mainstream audiences will care about this.
