A number of the stars from Guardians of the Galaxy have responded to the firing of writer-director James Gunn, who was dropped from the upcoming third film by Disney after a number of offensive tweets were resurfaced by Donald Trump supporters in an effort to attack Gunn for being an outspoken critic of the president.
In the tweets from nearly a decade ago, Gunn made lewd comments about rape and pedophilia. He has since apologized for the posts and said they do not represent who he is now.

If the male math teacher at your local school SHARED THE (EXACT) SAME TWEETS and got fired me thinks there would be no petition and me also thinks he would have a visit from the friendly neighborhood police.
But James Gunn made a fun Marvel film and hes a nice guy so fans gotta be stupid. Shame on the uneducated film stars as well.
