Interest in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has never been higher. Marvel Studios earned a company best $4 billion in 2018 and next year could be just as big, according to Fandango users. They’ve named Avengers: Endgame and Captain Marvel the two most anticipated movies of 2019.

IMO, the Captain Marvel (or as I like to call it, resting bish face the movie) trailers have seemed pretty “meh” for lack of a better term, I only watched each trailer once. But it seems the general audience types are interested.
None of the people in my family, I’m friends with or work with really follows movies. Other than general exposure type things. So they are the type of people that unless I tell them, doesn’t even know about Shazam, Joker or that there is even another Spider-Man movie. But they sure as hell know about Captain Marvel somehow. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯-
Not surprised. My neighbor’s wife even knows about Ronin. Like… tf you know about comicbook characters all of the sudden??
