Black Panther is an Academy Award winner! Ruth E. Carter won the Oscar® for Best Costume Design during tonight’s ceremony. This is the first Oscar® victory in Marvel Studios history.
I still don’t know how Aquaman wasn’t nominated in this category. I get the feeling that maybe they thought a lot of the designs in Aquaman looked too toy-like or something.
