SUH-WEEEET! Definitely a more definitive take than the 2003 version, although I’m one of the few who did NOT dislike the 2003 version. Yeah it was cartoony at times, but they got the angst right. Anyway, I love the armored look. And the cowl is friggin’ awesome.
And the LENSES? Sweet. Between this and the recently leaked pics fom the DEADPOOL set showing Ryan Reynolds in costume — WITH WHITE EYE LENSES — Marvel (and its subsidiary spin-offs) are kicking DC’s ass.
And it makes me even more pissed that DC is STILL using the black mascara look for BATMAN. Give him some WHITE LENSES. He’s not superhuman. He CANNOT see in the dark!!!!
Anyway, back to Daredevil — fantastic look.-
I agree, white eye lenses looks great in the comics, (where it’s also easier, quicker and cheaper to have them), but I don’t think it transfers well to cinema. Batman has had them twice and it looked crap. Maybe have them come down, out of the cowl, when he needs night vision? Personally, I prefer to see the eyes, on the cinematic Batman.
Deadpool has a full mask, like Spider-Man, so I’m not sure he counts when it comes to having/not having white eye lenses.
(I also didn’t hate Daredevil, but let’s keep that between us)

That costume is hideous. Looks nothing like Daredevil. It reminds me of Flash from the JLA TV pilot.
