I understand what he is saying but he said it wrong the trailer wasn’t that great it seemed all over the place and like there trying to do Nolans dark tone in the dark knight but I feel what we got was a watchman tone with batman and superman in it the Star Wars trailers even the teaser gave us a since of what’s going on like the one that dropped yesterday and the first one got us all excited look at the Jurassic world trailer got us all excited even the avengers trailer this just seemed like they put together a bad trailer for the movie and this isn’t a teaser seems more like a trailer for how long it is

As a DC fan I refuse to watch a leaked trailer. I’ll wait till next week when it is officially released online. But, judging from this site’s reaction it’s just the typical (and predictable) DC hate. You know the hypocrisy really annoys me. The tone of the new Avengers Age of Ultron trailers has been much darker than the original Avengers movie. There are even shades of MOS in the scene where Iron Man and the Hulk are fighting up the building. So clearly, the DCCU has had some influence on the way Marvel/Disney has marketed Age of Ultron. Yes there has been humour too, but nevertheless people weren’t complaining at the amount of destruction the Hulk/Iron Man fight clearly caused. They weren’t complaining Ultron was too dark. The comparison to Star Wars was completely irrelevant imo. What does the tone of the new Star Wars trailer have to do with the DCCU? Just because they are being released around the same time, doesn’t mean they have to be similar. Quite frankly, one of the biggest reasons why the Star Wars trailers have created so much buzz is because of the nostalgia factor. Disney have been laying it on thick to convince fans this new movie will be as good as the originals and nothing at all like the prequels. BatmanvSuperman is breaking new ground. DC/WB are building their universe – Star Wars has already established their’s. Finally, Batman is a dark character. If this was Hal Jordan’s Green LanternvSuperman or the FlashvSuperman or ShazamvSuperman the tone would be different again. You can’t divorce Batman from the darkness of his persona. It is a part of who he is.

Firstly, this trailer is from Batman’s point of view. I expected that Batman would be the one picking the fight, I just didn’t expect they’d make it look like Superman was the bad guy between them. Second, I don’t know why I didn’t expect it, in the New 52, Superman starts off the arrogant one who has to be put in his place. This is what this movie will be. Batman is going to put Superman in his place, win the moral victory and THEN Superman, the Superman we all know and love will arrive.
Stop moaning about Superman being “dark” and just follow the story of what’s happening. -
Who the hell expects characterization on a teaser trailer? Did we get any characterization on the first Star Wars 7 teaser? No. I didn’t see him whining about it. This Polygon writer is a moron.

Talk about jumping the gun. I thoroughly enjoyed the trailer. I think the whole point is to keep us in the dark (no pun intended) on what’s really going on. Think about how much of a secret this movie has been in terms of plot details and there being almost no photos released during filming. Reserve your judgement until the movie actually comes out. Batman looks and sounds great. The “false god” premise is an incredibly interesting way to go that I didn’t see coming. Everything about this whole process seems to be leading up to the movie being surprising in more ways than one. There’ll be plenty of surprises when we all sit in the theatre and can’t take our eyes off the screen. All I know is i’ll be one of the first in line to watch it.

Awesome is not enough to describe this trailer. It’s just spectacular. Batman looks beast just like how Frank Miller envisioned him to be. Batman delivered the best dialogue of the year, the frickin Batmobile can fly and blow total shit and Lex Luthor sounds like Lex Luthor not Eisenberg. And we have Neil DeGrasse Tyson, so nothing can go wrong ;)

I’m not one for a flying batmobile either. I don’t mind if they have the same aesthetic or style but don’t want to see it flying. I’m not sure that was Batmans voice what if it was a villain? Maybe the rumored Metallo or Doomsday. Just speculating.

Definitely this guy is too busy sucking off ultron and Mickey rather paying attention to the trailer. the trailer clearly lays out batmans intentions and everyone else’s which is they don’t trust supes after what happened after MOS(including lex at 58 sec mark to make himself sound like the earths saviour) I swear fanboys are fucking too much. Why not just be happy we are all getting comic book movies we only dreamt about. Plus really the marvel universe has only two excellent movies out of 9 or so that are already out which is iron man and cap winter soilder. Avengers is just a good movie to throw on if you want some action and humour, hopefully AOU will be better and so far it is looking that way. Seriously though once the guys who did winter soilder get their hands on the avengers dc has to be worried because I can see the epicness and depth already if WS is any indication. Wb also were smart to change this movies’ date to not compete with civil war because that will also be awesome especially since marvels spidey will be debuting. Remember this

What’s wrong with a flying bat mobile? It’s been done In the comics and frankly makes sense rather then having all these different vehicles for one purpose when you can have one for all situations. Sounds like batman too me

To be honest I’m disappointed to see this on here, it’s a teaser trailer.. Remember that Avengers age of ultron trailer which was essentially just voice clips from the first movie while the logo formed? Well this is on par with that. A teaser.

To be honest this movie is just under a year away, we are bound to get more trailers that focus on character development
, plus if you want that then you should watch the film not a trailer for the film. And for the story they are trying to tell the tone fits perfectly. Its like everyone wants dc to have the same tone as marvel films, they are two different franchises let dc do their thing and stop hating. -
We got more morally loaded questions and a general theme than the star wars and avengers combined, and yet it’s everything is wrong with dc? No its every thing that is right. DC is the one with the balls. DC is the one willing to be different, dark, and asking moral questions that often times have a gray answer. That means the stakes are higher. I enjoyed the star wars trailer but was it really that great? All we got is better shots of the new characters and Luke or someone repeating a line from the old movie and “we are home”. There literally was no characterization. It just brings about more questions. Where as avengers 2 looks like a carbon copy of the first one. Way to play it safe marvel. Whoever this is, they are a hack. I dunno why superheronews even posted the story or gives this troll the light of day. What a ridiculous comment.
