It’s been three years since Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk smashed his way to the screen in 2012’s The Avengers. But according to the Spotlight star, the angry green giant is “not any closer” to getting a standalone movie.
“Actually, it feels even further away,” Ruffalo tells USA TODAY. “It’s not Marvel’s property, it’s Universal’s property. I don’t know. It seems really problematic.”

As a DC-fan I’m really glad that all DC-characters belong to DC/WB. It’s sad that Marvel don’t own the rights to all of their characters. I really feel that Wolverine should be an Avenger. If we ever gonna have a Planet Hulk/World War Hulk-movie, characters like Mr. Fantastic are needed for the story since he and Stark sends Hulk into space. I’m so happy they made the Spider-Man deal with Sony and I hope that Civil War will be a success. Maby that would inspire 20th Century Fox to make similar deals with X-Men and Fantastic Four. It would be a really good idea since they must cast a new Wolverine as soon as Hugh Jackman retires. I feel that it would save the Fantastic Four-franchise too. They don’t have to reboot it again, just crossover with future Marvel-flicks.
