Reynolds’ quick wit makes him a natural for this kind of video, and the conversation inevitable turns to the two taking the opportunity to make a few more jokes at the expense of their onscreen pairing in the abysmal X-Men Origins: Wolverine and that film’s mishandling of the Deadpool character.
I love the chemistry beteeen Ryan and Hugh. I wish that Hugh would do Wolverine one last time in Deadpool 2 and finally suit up in the classic gold/black suit. A suited Wolverine would fit in a Deadpool movie since it’s not as serious as X-Men.

That’s an awesome idea. I was wondering how the film makers could make sense of Wolverine wearing the suit after what 7 or 8 films without it. Especially considering that Old Man Logan is the source material for Wolverine 3. But now that Deadpool’s here, and a smash hit! I think it might be a possiblity. With how fast they are going to make Deadpool 2 I’m sure Mr. Reynolds can charm Hugh into picking up the claws again even if it is just a cameo.

That was what I was thinking. Hugh could wear the suit because an appearence in Deadpool 2 wouldn’t have to follow any specific timeline. Ryan should try and sweet talk Hugh into this. I guess the budget for the sequel will be much larger so the money shouldn’t be an issue.
If this is not possible – Deadpool 2 would be the perfect forum to introduce the new Wolverine and give him the suit from the beginning. I love the chemistry between Wolverine and Deadpool in the comics and I’d rather see them together in a shared X-Force franchise than in X-Men.
An X-Force team led by Cable is more suitable for both Wolverine and Deadpool, with the R-Rating, than the PG-13 rated X-Men is. Still in the same universe though, with potential crossovers and use of the same characters.
This would be a perfect way for Fox to expand their universe and maby hand the rights to Fantastic Four back to Marvel in time for Infinity War.
