The 2014 movie “Captain America: Winter Soldier” was a darker take on the classic superhero, featuring more violence and less humor than its 2011 predecessor.
That trend will continue in the upcoming “Captain America: Civil War,” writing and directing duo Joe and Anthony Russo said at this weekend’s Wizard World Cleveland Comic Con. Fans can expect the upcoming movie to be even more aggressive and gritty than the second installment.

Really I’ve been on and off this site for two years now and I have NEVER seen a fan on here attack Marvel fans.
The only incidents I have seen are trolls/MCU “fans” (I hate calling them fans because I know there are MCU fans out there who aren’t like that) who come on this site whenever there’s a trailer out or big announcement who verbally attack fans on this site and then only then do others respond.
If you call people have an opinion you don’t like or agree with attacking fans you need to rethink some things. -

Okay, I can agree that there are complete biased fanboys from both sides of the spectrum. But in my experience, ever since BvS was announced they declared that this movie will be the ‘end of Marvel’. Do I think BvS is going to be a huge success? F*ck yes and I really hope it means more CBM in the future of their universe, but likewise, the fact is, those are the fans that completely ridicule every aspect of Marvel such as the comedy, which I can admit can get way too overboard (*cough* *cough* Iron Man 3/AOU) and that ‘it’s meant for kids’. And I’ve always hated the argument that ‘dark & gritty means better’ ideology. But yeah, like I said, that’s just in my experience, I guess. I apologize for my previous comment.

I don’t think the Russos know what dark is. Sure, the movie might have some edge to it, but dark? Violent? Feige and Disney won’t allow it.
From D23, I heard they’ll be some humor in it.
The scene where they all fight, Hawkeye and Black Widow were like
“We’re still friends, right?” in a jokey way. While the other teammates are almost killing each other.
And they beat Ultron, in the worst possible way.
Ultron singing and making a joke about it when Hulk got on his plane.. and then they beat him.

Ultron sang? Did he really? AoU was so unremarkable, I forgot. Only remembered how the ultron drones started running away from the avengers near the end. I mean really? Robots expressing fear? Very cartoonish. Not gonna watch it again anyway.
LOL “dark.” If they mean dark times for making good movies, they’ll possibly never stoop as far into the toilet than they have already. But hey, they’re promising us even more shitty cgi crap. Might as well make these movies 100% cartoon to save some money rather than 99% cartoon. Shitsney would probably be that cheap after Robert Dummy Junkie expires on set, needle in arm and all.
