Man, you guys continue to delight. Any jarhead with a webcam can post a reaction video and endlessly blab. The rapport you share and the intelligence with which you analyze material is thought-provoking, respectful, and entertaining.
The absence of a villain in the trailer was refreshing. We know Baron Zemo and Crossbones are in the story, but delivering a war of morals is far more interesting. I wonder if the villains will end up feeling like Starkiller Base, an unnecessary element that could have been written around to make the story more concise. I have faith in the Russos that each layer has purpose.
So freaking good.
Of course they didn’t work on the trailer either, right?.. You won’t get any biase from them. Realistically and from an independent perspective Spidey and the CG heroes look cheap. The Movie looks like it has a lot of plot holes. Tony created Ultron and is responsible for destroying an entire nation. Now, all is forgiven and he is suddenly working for the government. Where is the world uproar for prosecuting Tony for crimes against Humanity. I feel like Disney/marvel and especially the Russo brothers do not respect us comic book fans intelligence. They don’t respect us enough to make a movie with actual ramifications but manufactured consequences. It would make logical sense to make a movie about Cap helping Tony redeem himself for what he has done. Nope, it’s about dangling every hero from the their hero rogue gallery to cover the plot holes in this movie by calling it a Civil War movie in name only. Spider-Man is not going to save them from the cookie cutting marvel cinematic fatigue. What we’ve learned from fan reaction of Deadpool is that adults and the general public are hungry for real quality stories. Not the adolescent theme Disney/marvel format. I’m fatigue already.
Curiously, No one criticize the destruction of New York, Washington and Sokovia and when Superman destroys half of Metropolis, everyone loses their minds….Oh the Humanity…LOL.
Nice trailer and review. Cant wait for BvS, and CW
Fucking marks.
You don’t fool me. Not one bit.
The thing that I find amazing is because Avengers, Winter Soldier and AOU made a light attempt at saying “Save the Humans” they get a pass. But MoS no such luck.
I can’t believe nothing has been said about the undersea prison Cap and Tony are meeting in. Is that the MCU equivalent to Prison 42?
Also, I think it’s safe to say T’Challa either has his enhancements or will get them early in this movie, based on how he runs down Bucky.
Funny how they didn’t mention once the cgi for Spider-Man, about 95% of the comments I saw towards the trailer were about people bashing the way he looked. They had to have seen that he looked a little tooo cartoonish
(Click on it for full size) It’s actually pretty solid when not under horrible compression – I found it absolutely jarring at first too, but on second viewing in better quality, it’s swayed me.
Def looks better then what I’ve seen… Wayyyy better, thanks for that..
Loving this suit. The details are awesome..more tactical.
The iridescence on the fabric is a nice touch too
Still think the web pits coulda came into play here

Spider-Man is and will bring me delight whenever he shows up on the big screen – and I hope Tom does great! But the costume is still up in the air (AMS was a better adaptation in this case) but hoping Iron Spider makes an appearance and he gets a better costume eventually.
But overall – this is a great trailer and I’m looking forward to this year. BvS, then Civil War then SS and Doctor Strange! Dying to see March 25 come up!
come on Adam, say it “he open and closes like two…” yeah like two cameras.
Way to be honest and critical of your own work. Of course my work is going to be awesome, nothing is wrong with it. This trailer is mediocre at best. There is nothing truthfully super or epic about it. Everyone that’s been overhyping this trailer are either blind or delusional. The truth is that Spider-Man is the real reason people are curious to click and see it. Keeping that in mind, it doesn’t really mean that the large viewership from people meant that they generally liked it. In my opinion, this trailer was the weakest out of all the other trailers. All the cheap CG, including Spider-Man, did not make this trailer look and feel like it’s Super or epic. Come on, Underoos.. Are you kidding me? All the talk from the Russo brothers has been that this is going to be different, it’s going to have stakes. That’s not the case at all from what we have seen. More slap stick and force comedy, no wonder there is talk of comic movie fatigue. It’s the same oven baked cookie cut movie format from the Disney, marvel, and Testicleless Russo clowns oven.
The reception from Deadpool has shown, that adults are hungry to see Superhero movies too. Yet, Disney/marvel continues to make movies for the eat my own snot and pee and my pants base. This group can’t tell the difference between a grape fruit and an orange, heck they think a carrot is a fruit and a pizza is an actual food group. At this rate there we will be hero fatigue because of Disney/marvel. The general public are hungry for something fresh, not repackaged or beaten like a dead horse.
Regarding the plot holes that I’m starting to see out of Civil War, whatever happened to the ramifications of Ultron? Shouldn’t Tony be hunted down and be imprisoned by the world government for creating Ultron. It’s Tony’s fault for all the death and destruction for Sekovia, right. Why is it the Avengers or Cap’s fault? A real/true hero would take responsibility for his actions and say it’s my bad and he would fall on his sword for doing it. It’s been the talk of all the die hard DC critics that MOS wasn’t heroic cause he killed thousands, a neck breaker, jerk and an a hole. All of sudden, everything is forgotten and the world forgives Tony. Now, he’s suddenly on the government’s side?!?! Now, there is a forced effort to make Bucky the villain and the fall guy for everything that’s happened. I read how the Russo brothers try to recuse themselves or excuse themselves from not drawing from the actual comic book civil war. It’s about Tony and Cap’s relationship. If this is the case, why not logically have it be a movie about Cap helping Tony redeem himself. Nope, it’s about broad brushing everything for an excuse to sell a rushed movie called civil war when it has nothing to do with the actual comic book. Way to take it in the rear end marvel, you have ruined one of your greattest gems out of your treasure chest(the actual Civil War comic book story) and sold your soul to Fiege and Disney’s adolescent cinematic universe. Spider-Man is not going save you from Marvel cinematic universe fatigue.
I love you guys. I really do. But maybe you should think about not doing anymore “reaction” videos. The whole inference behind a “reaction” video is for us to see your FIRST-TIME reaction, yes? You unintentionally cheapen it by having already seen said trailer(s). I get that by the very nature of your jobs and/or just being on the internet, it is nigh impossible not to see a CBM trailer once it hits the net. Which is why I suggest ditching the whole thing altogether. I guess calling it a “review” like you did with this one is a step in the right direction.
It also doesn’t help that your community sends you tweets filled with photos from said trailer(s). I didn’t know that was like… a… thing. So I feel your pain, but when I watch a “reaction” video, I want the reaction to be virgin. LoL
As for the trailer – Awesome-sauce!! What a time to be a CB fan.
