There have been no negotiations on where the Bond movie will land (Sony or Warner Bros. are out front on this) and although it was thought that negotiations might start after the first quarter 2016, parties are not likely to engage in negotiations until later this year. There is no workable script yet and the creative elements have yet to come into place. It has also been widely reported (and confirmed by Deadline) that Jamie Bell has discussed the Bond role with his Film Stars Don’t Die movie producer Barbara Broccoli (who has long produced the Bond movies). Craig has been very vocal about not wanting to do another Bond. After Spectre, he said publicly that he would rather slash his wrists than do another in the franchise.

Jamie Bell as Bond? dead. He really doesn’t suit Bond, in my opinion. However, he’s a local from my area in the UK, so congrats for him if he does get it.

Cavill or Elba will get it.

Bale was Batman and John Connor. RDJ is Iron Man and Sherlock Holmes. Jennifer Lawrence was Katniss Evergreen and Mystique… plus the daddy of them all, Harrison Ford was Han Solo and Indiana Jones
If WB/DC had big plans for Superman it might be an issue, but they don’t, so I think it’s doable

Why not? It can happen. He can do both. And him and Elba are the best options. They both have the qualities needed to pull off the part.
Not just acting whise but charisma whise to.0 likes

I still think Tom Hiddleston would be make an absolutely perfect James Bond

Until recently my choices would have been Michael Fassbender or Karl Urban, depending on if they wanted suave and sophisticated or rough and rugged, but both are a bit old to commit to 4 films. (Bond isn’t 50). Age is the same reason I’d say no to Idris Elba. These aren’t one film deals, you have to think of multiple outings and no one wants a repeat of a wrinkly old Roger Moore in View to a Kill
Jamie Bell is a great actor, but he’s too short, (he’s on a box in that picture), Henry Cavill is too rigid, so I’m going to chuck out two names…
If they want an established name, to pull in fans – Tom Hiddlestone
If they want an unknown, who can have more development – Dan Stevens
(Notable also runs include Tom Hardy and Aiden Turner, but I’d quite like one of those two, to become Wolverine)
