‘Avengers: Infinity War’ pushes Marvel Studios past $16 billion worldwide

The Marvel Cinematic Universe continues to put more distance between itself and every other franchise at the worldwide box office. Less than three months after reaching $14 billion, Marvel Studios has now eclipsed $16 billion, thanks to the continued success of Black Panther ($1.34B) and the rapid revenue haul by Avengers: Infinity War ($1.16B).
