“We start shooting in April,” Anthony Mackie tells B96 Chicago (via CBM). “So, it’s gonna be a lot of flying and fighting for about five months… and I’m not mad at all.” When asked (by none other than Kevin Costner) about specific shooting locations, Mackie replied: “Puerto Rico, Berlin, and Atlanta.“

The Writers Guild of America announced their nominations for their annual awards ceremony this year and included on the list is none other than Guardians of the Galaxy for Best Adapted Screenplay! Writer/director James Gunn and Nicole Perlman, who wrote the initial draft, are both credited with the script and the nomination.
