Exclusive: The new Avengers roster revealed, and about that Quicksilver rumor…

With Phase Two of the Marvel Cinematic Universe coming to a near close with Avengers: Age of Ultron, an inevitable change is upon us. As previously teased by head of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige, a change in the Avengers roster is imminent. Through an exclusive source at the House of Mouse, Superhero News brings you the “new” Avengers roster, which will debut at the finale of Age of Ultron.

Your new Avengers include The Falcon, Scarlet Witch, The Vision, and War Machine, led by Captain America and Black Widow. Whether or not all of these characters will appear in the forthcoming Captain America: Civil War is unsure at this time.

Also, you may have read a Quicksilver rumor over the past couple of days. Superhero News can confirm that it’s true. It happens while he’s protecting a fellow Avenger.

This is a waste of Quicksilver as a character but otherwise I kind of dig that new roster. I wonder how this will change going forward into CA:CW and the two Infinity Wars films…especially if Cap meets his end at the end of Civil War.

Why would War Machine oppose Tony/Iron Man? Doesn’t make sense..
And killing Quicksilver after just one movie would be pretty dumb. I don’t see that happening

  Difference of opinion. Just because your friend does something does not mean you follow him blindly. Who the heck is going to be on Iron Man’s side in Civil War is the real question.

If this is true, it might be a compromise with Fox to use Quicksilver in their franchise, but keep hands off of Scarlett Witch.

I can see Rhodey siding with another soldier instead of Stark. Plus, they had a difference of opinions in Iron Man 2. There’s precedent.

  True but Rhody does work for the government…never mind. I’m honestly finding hard to think of anyone who would actually side with Tony. My ideals are much more twards Caps and he is a much better leader

    I share the notion of freedom with Rogers, but can’t say I disagree with what Stark was doing. The notion of “if we don’t be apart of the registration now, we won’t be able to later” resonates accurately.
    
    I also have this issue with all these costumed & enhanced powered people running around uncheck. One of the things that Batman once commented on about heroes like Rayner; they get these abilities by chance & didn’t really earn them. In some cases, they can’t handle the burden & it can cause people to die. Batman spent his whole life to training to do what he does. Aside from the death of his parents, nothing about his abilities are from chance.
    
    I feel the same way about those real life costumed idiots who try to be vigilantes. The notion is noble, but they lack the training & mindset to be successful. They wind up looking like fools.
    
    If I was apart of the hero community & Civil War broke out, I’d probably go all Kingdom Come Batman & start by own faction.

I’m will not be that surprised if this happens, they needed someone to die to raise the stakes and your not killing off Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Hulk or Black Widow. Besides with two Quick Silvers currently in active franchises, I think it is logical plus I think he will go down protecting Cap after he realises the full extent of Ultrons plan and this leads to Scarlet witches turn on Ultron (see the scene in trailer with him and cap fighting ultron)

I reckon Hulk does get shot into space with ultron, Iron Man leves the Avengers, Thor is sent to Ragnarok and Hawkeye sides with Tony. Aside from Iron man, I can’t say I feel like I’m gonna miss those characters.

So Marvel never felt the need to fight the Quicksilver war with Fox, they chose not to. Hope he goes down in a blaze of glory either if he is a good or bad Quicksilver.

If they felt they HAD to kill a character, they sure went about the cheap easy way. Killing a new character who almost inevitably won’t get much development time is pretty weak-there’s no way it’s going to get the kind of reaction killing one of the already established characters would. Don’t know if I buy this.
