Zack Snyder has a delayed holiday gift for Batman fans. The Batman v Superman director shared new photos of Ben Affleck as The Dark Knight on Vero.
In his post, Snyder credited Affleck as being the director’s “perfect Batman.”

His perfect Batman? Now we know why the DCEU failed under his watch.
Affleck is clearly not a fan favorite as Batman. His role was obviously subpar in Justice League and mediocre in Batman v Superman. Clearly you haven’t read other sites where sources have stated that Affleck didn’t even care for the role of Batman during Snyder directorship, as well as Whedon’s. Not just that, but the actor is a pariah as an actor. No one goes out to watch his films, especially when he is the lead. From what I have seen the only people who like Affleck as Batman are hard core comicbook fans who even appreciate the very short (5’8″) Michael Keaton as the superhero. Affleck looks like Bruce Wayne, but Justice League showed that he’s no Bruce Wayne at all. After all, Bruce Wayne is the only character Affleck can play, because the real Batman is the stunt double that played him Richard Cittrone. Even Matt Reeves wants nothing to do with Affleck.
