The end could be near for Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as the series is set to air its 100th episode next week. The first television series spun from the Marvel Cinematic Universe has spent much of its life, especially this season and last, teetering between renewal and cancellation. There are no guarantees of a season six and the showrunners are promising not to leave fans cliffhanging.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. threw a big party for its 100th episode last weekend. During the festivities, showrunners Maurisa Tancharoen and Jed Whedon spoke with TV Line about this season’s finale and acknowledged the uncertain status of the show’s future.

good, the show was never good to begin with, what a waste of a potential good show, and they wasted SHIELD on the mcu too

Too bad it took 2 seasons for the show to find its groove. Seasons 2 and 3 were alright, season 4 was really, really good. Amazing pace. They even did a better “Flashpoint” scenario than the CW Flash. Season 5 has been pretty good too, and when compared to other cb shows on the air right now, it has been amazing.
Hopefully they manage to end it with a bang.
