Ant-Man and the Wasp brought in another $8.4M at the domestic box office this weekend. That raises its total to $183.1M in North America, moving the sequel ahead of the first film’s $180.2M.
Ant-Man and the Wasp still has several weeks to go at the domestic box office, so it should be able to distance itself from its predecessor. While the growth of the franchise in North America is encouraging, the film’s international performance is even better.

Way to put lipstick on a pig Gerber. Even if it crosses $600 million worldwide it’s still going to end up 14th or 15th on the all-important MCU Box Office rankings.
