A lot has happened since we last left the main characters in 2015’s Ant-Man. Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) went off and fought in Captain America: Civil War, only to be arrested and subsequently broken out of prison. He’s a fugitive, again, only this time an international one.
Obviously, Scott’s global status as a wanted man is going to have an impact on the other characters in Ant-Man and the Wasp, but they’re also busy with their own pursuits. Director Peyton Reed recently discussed how each of the main cast members enter the story with Empire.
