IAR’s Managing Editor Jami Philbrick had the absolute pleasure of sitting down with Anthony Mackie to talk about his work on Black or White, which opens in theaters on January 30th. While we will run that portion of the interview closer to the film’s release date, we wanted to let you know now what Mackie had to say about his upcoming movie Captain America: Civil War, as well as possibly appearing in Avengers: Age of Ultron. The popular actor candidly discussed Civil War, how he found out that he was going to be in it, Marvel’s secrecy, the original comic book source material, not reading the script yet, Black Panther’s introduction to the MCU, if he think the Falcon will be on Team Cap or Team Stark, meeting Robert Downey Jr., his hope that the new Falcon costume will closer resemble the comic books, and if the actor is going to appear in Avengers: Age of Ultron.
