Of course you can’t just start watching a tv show in its 4th year without being somewhat lost. That has never been the case with television period, unless it’s the type of chronicle show like True Detective. I’m looking forward to seeing the more classic Oliver Queen this time around. Not sure how they’re going to get around putting him back in the hood without everyone knowing that’s not Arrow, that’s Oliver Queen, since his secret identity is done with now. This looks like it will be a really fun season though, since last season dragged a bit.
I couldn’t tell you when this was happening, but in some fairly recent comics, Star City had undergone some sort of natural disaster at the hands of some villain(yes it’s vague, I read these a few years ago), and Oliver’s identity had been revealed in the process. He retreated into the forest near the city and went full-time vigilante. Maybe we’ll see something like that out of Arrow this season?
That would be neat. I don’t see how he could live as Oliver Queen AND the Arrow in the city anymore at this point, unless yeah, Oliver Queen became a ghost.
Hey guys, always love the show, and I’m commenting for the first time today!
As far as ranking the seasons goes, the second season really is excellent. Manu Bennett gives a really charismatic and terrifying performance as Deathstroke.
Season 1 is pretty much am average TV show, but it’s really cool looking back on it and seeing the early development of your favorite characters.
Season 3 had a lot of promise, but didn’t deliver in the back half of the season. The winter finale is, in my opinion, the single best episode the show has had so far, but the story line for the league of assassins ended up feeling drawn out and half baked. However, the season does a lot to build up Thea, and I’m happy to see in this trailer that we’ll be seeing a lot more of her in S4.
As an archer, one of my favorite parts of the progression of the series is watching Oliver upgrade his equipment. His Kestrel Hybrid from this past season is just about the coolest weapon you’ll ever see.
You guys really should catch up on the show so far, especially if you like flash! It lays the groundwork for that show in a lot of ways, and is also very entertaining in its own right!
