Gwyneth Paltrow was spotted on the Fayetteville, Georgia, set of “Avengers: Infinity War Part 2” Tuesday, wearing what appeared to be an engagement ring while embracing her on-screen love interest, Robert Downey Jr.‘s Tony Stark, also known as Iron Man.
Paltrow’s presence in the Marvel Universe had been lacking since her last appearance in 2013’s “Iron Man 3.” She briefly returned in this summer’s “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” when billionaire Stark pulled out a ring during a press conference.

I’m more interested in the new chest reactor than Tony’s relationship with Pepper. I also don’t get why they included Pepper, yet didn’t include Nick Fury.
Maybe Tony dies at the end, and they need Pepper’s reaction to increase the emotional response… I hope that’s the case, because I am sick of RDJ’s Iron Man. Not only is he used way too much, but his character has just become insufferable. The Avengers are better off without that self-righteous douchebag.
Tony’s death could be a sacrifice of some sort, which could redeem his character, as after years of repeatedly fucking everything up and fighting others for his failures (Iron Man 3, Avengers 2, Civil War, Spider-Man Homecoming), maybe NOW he finally realizes HE is the problem that needs to be fixed. A tragic redemption, in shot… but a redemption nonetheless.
