    Maybe our assessment of the time vortex is backward. Reportedly, the Lang footage has “Archive 1983.” Maybe he doesn’t go through one & exits in the future, but the past. Could that footage be a ‘Doc Brown’ letter from the past that tells Steve & Natasha where to currently find Lang. They then can pull him out ‘today.’
