Avengers: Infinity War hauled in an estimated (and impressive) $76M in its first day in China. Throughout the rest of the world, including North America, Infinity War has brought in $1.275B, so its debut in China will raise its total to over $1.35B.

Understand where you’re coming from, but at the same time we shouldn’t project our western values on other parts of the world. Especially where they have limited exposure to others, European/White-American/Aussie aside. Recent Chinese (mainlanders) imigrants to the US are adjusting to see varying faces. Some are making great strides, treating others in the manners they’ve received them. I’ve read articles, seen documentaries, heard stories of treatment of Sub-Saharan Africans (students) facing discrimination in China & India, discrimination that became physical & it pains me to see my ancestoral homeland (Asia in General) be so juvenile because of skin. But I have hopes they’ll come around (some) b/c of recent immigtants from East & South Asia. Won’t judge them as a whole, won’t project my values on them, won’t raise my voice until there’s physical scars, I’ll just have hope. Like Superman.
