While many of the characters from the first film will be back, ComingSoon.net has today learned that fans should not expect the return of Benicio Del Toro as Taneleer Tivan, The Collector. We had the chance to speak with the Academy Award winning actor about his latest, Fernando Léon de Aranoa’s A Perfect Day, and got an update on his involvement (or lack thereof) with the “Phase Three” sequel.
“I don’t think so,” Del Toro said when asked about The Collector returning. “They would have told me, I hope… I do hope to play that character again at some point.”
