Black Panther‘s opening weekend prospects are looking better and better. Industry estimates now have the latest Marvel Studios film earning $185.4M in its first three days in North America and up to $212.1M over its first four days. Those projections are up from $175M and $200M, respectively, earlier today.
Black Panther brought in an estimated $76M on Friday, including $25.2M from Thursday night preview screenings. The film received just the second “A+” CinemaScore in live-action superhero movie history, so the final totals for Friday and the rest of the weekend could exceed these already lofty projections

I think if it makes even just 400 mill foreign, the domestic will take it past 1 billion. 600 domestic is within reach, problem is… school, lol.

Mcu’s best and worst playing movies were GOTG 1 and Civil War. Guardians 1 had a 3.53 multiplier, and Civil War a 2.32 multiplier. If Black Panther makes 200 this 4 day weekend (which I think it will pass), and plays like Civil War, it will reach 464. That makes me think you’re right, in that it will not reach 600. But I think it will reach the 500s. So thanks for allowing me to rethink things.
