‘Black Panther’: Letitia Wright wants to make a Shuri movie when the time is right

Black Panther is set to blow the roof off the box office in just two weeks. It is sure to generate enough revenue for Disney and Marvel Studios to quickly pursue a sequel and maybe even a spinoff. As Marvel Comics fans know, Shuri (Letitia Wright) can be a big part of the franchise’s future. She even succeeds T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman) as both Black Panther and the Queen of Wakanda in the source material.

Wright is certainly up for a bigger role as Shuri, but in due time.
