Göransson gave Black Panther a uniquely beautiful sound while also creating an iconic theme for the title character. Scores for superhero-based films are not usually nominated in this category, making this victory even more remarkable.

thats crazy. To think an MCU movie(which have never been known for their music. Somebody even made a video about it) would get an oscar in this category before Zimmer did for any of his amazing work at DC.
