‘Black Widow’ standalone film moving forward, Jac Schaeffer to write the script

Marvel Studios is moving forward with a Black Widow standalone film. The studio has hired Jac Schaeffer to pen the script and Scarlett Johansson will star. This is does not mean the movie has a green light, but this is the first time a writer for the ever-developing project has been named.
