With no Star Wars sucking up the attention and box office bucks, and with Welcome to the Jungle and The Greatest Showman proving that a big crowd-pleaser can thrive even against a 1600lb gorilla during the holiday season, every studio is tempting their fate on essentially the same date. It’s going to show that the audience can handle a bunch of big movies even during the Christmas season or it’s going to be a game-changing bloodbath.
