While promoting Kong: Skull Island, Oscar-winner Brie Larson (The Room) — who is portraying Carol Danvers in the MCU — cautioned that not everyone will click with her version. “To be fair, there are a lot of iterations of her,” Larson told SciFiNow magazine, “so there’s going to be some people there who think this isn’t right.”
She then described her iteration. “She’s a believer in truth and justice and she is a bridge between Earth and space,” she explained. “She’s fighting between the flaws that are within her and all this good that she wants to try and spread and make the world a better place. She can also fly and shoot things out of her hands. And she’s really funny!”
Brie Larson describes her Captain Marvel as “really funny”

She is probably the worst choice for this. Honestly she’s the worst choice for any movie. I usually don’t dislike actors but this b*tch is terrible!!

I take it you’ve never seen The Room, Short Term 12, or even Scott Pilgrim vs The World? She’s honestly the best actress Marvel has under their belt right now imo.

I mean all marvel movies except the first 2 Captain America movies can be described as action comedies so no surprise here, doesn’t mean I have to like it

Don’t forget ‘The Incredible Hulk’….One of MCU’s few dark & gritty movies without the cheesy humour(I liked the movie).

“Really Funny!” Wow, Marvel has done it again! More generic, lazy writing by giving the mass audiences another funny character! Wow! I can’t believe how innovative and daring Marvel is…

She must have read Civil War II
Also Brie, I love your work, but unless your name is Scarlet, a female character’s personality in the MCU movies won’t amount to much, even if you’re the main character.0 likes -
Don’t know how funny she can be with that twat playing her.

She’s a cunt. And no way shed better than Meryl, Amy Adams, or Countless other great actresses that actually deserve praise.

Then you literally have no taste in actresses, nor an eye for talent
