The Marvel Cinematic Universe is a wonderful place to be and attracts many actors. The size of the MCU and the pressures that come with being part of something with such intense online fandom, however, can be a bit daunting. A little hesitation is normal, especially for an actress like Brie Larson, who had plenty of options fresh off of her Oscar® for Room and did not need the starring role in Captain Marvel.
As Larson explains in a new interview with Vanity Fair, she did not take the decision to star in Marvel Studios’ first female-led solo franchise lightly.
In a recent fan Q&A, Batman on Film was asked how big of a role Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor would have in Justice League. Their reply? “He doesn’t have one. If he did prior to all the changes/reshoots, it was cut.”

Deadline is reporting that The Hangover director Todd Phillips has been hired by Warner Bros. to co-write a Joker origin movie with 8 Mile writer Scott Silver. Phillips will also likely direct the movie, with legendary director Martin Scorsese set to produce.
