He understood everything like everyone else, he’s laughing at the fact that this movie was completely built on conveniences and more holes than Swiss cheese. Here are some examples-
First, take away that camera that was strategically placed in that one spot and BTW super soldier serum is INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT so why is an old guy and his wife carrying it in an Oldsmobile with no security? C’mon that’s absurd, does the government not know how valuable it is? Yeah sure why don’t you and your wife just take it this weekend!? 2nd A black grieving mother is standing all by herself in the only place Tony is with no one or security around… How does she know he would be there at that moment? 3rd, where in the hell is Vision? You have a super serious villain stealing a WMD and he’s nowhere to be found and why? Never explained, if he’s there none of those thing happen the way they did. 4th somehow you can walk in a government security of the highest level just with a name tag? Nobody knows that hey this is not our interrogator? I guess just a name tag will do!? 5th Falcon tells Tony ok I’ll tell you where he is but ONLY YOU CAN GO, and then he leaves and can’t tell that BP is following him in his freaking billion dollar suit because he’s hiding in a cloud and once again conveniently he shows up at the exact same time as Cap and WS even though they left hours ago! In order to get Tony to this point in the movie all these conveniences has to happen and then the “smartest guy in the room who’s responsible for the mess they are in to begin with loses all logic even though he calls WS a Manchurian candidate. CA:TWS (which is my favorite Marvel movie BTW) was all about how the government is corrupt, unreliable… and there is no one in the Marvel universe who has a better moral compass than Steve Rodgers but yet they threw all that away as if that movie never existed. These are some of the many conveniences of the movie. Look at the Martha moment in BvS take that convenience away and then what? Conveniences can be used to add to a plot device but great movies aren’t built around them. Like I said before the action sequences was worth my money and the introduction of BP makes me excited for that solo movie but this movie has way too many holes for me to consider it good.-

But once again Tony Stank proved to be the best villain going from a supposed genius who can’t understand that WS was a victim but still wanted to kill him. And that title, it should have been called Avengers 2.5 and not Captain America… Since Tony has more screen time and lines and since it really wasn’t a war but a fight in an empty airport as well (how convenient). So, I watched Civil War for the first time today since it came out. Decided to rent it. Note, I was going to see it in theaters, but the die hard Marvel fans ruined it for me with their incessant need to degrade and belittle DC properties and films. But, that’s another story. So, I’m sitting and watching CW today, and I’m bored and I’m noticing that the film’s story(ies) are kind of all over the place. I mean, it wasn’t as choppy as BvS, but my goodness, it was bad. Plus, Zemo was lame, as was his plan and when he was sitting there at the end with Black Panther, I just sat there like “that was it? That was Zemo and his master plan?” Plus, there weren’t any high stakes in this film. You knew everyone was going to live, even the bad guys, etc.
Just silly. Pretty overrated film. And it most certainly was Avengers 2.5, not Cap 3. I think Cap deserves a true third film and Marvel/Disney needs to figure out a way to make it happen after this movie.

Cap 3 should’ve been about Cap, Bucky, Falcon, and Sharon in a final battle against Hydra, not a movie designed to upstage a rival company that they didn’t even need to upstage. Hell, that probably was the original plot (with the real Zemo).
Talk about disrespect. WB did it with Superman too, basically admitting they’d rather make money with a superhero team up rather than a sequel that continues (or in Cap’s case, end) a story.
