Read the Full StoryCaptain Marvel is gear up for production and that means the casting news should be fast and furious. The first addition of 2018 appears to be DeWanda Wise (She’s Gotta Have It). Her character has yet to be identified, but Wise will be in a supporting role alongside Brie Larson as Captain Marvel/Carol Danvers and Jude Law as Mar-Vell.
The cast also includes Ben Mendelsohn as an unidentified villain and Samuel L. Jackson, with two eyes since the movie takes place in the 1990s, as Nick Fury.
