That’s a wrap on Captain Marvel! Principal photography on Marvel Studios’ 21st feature film was completed yesterday, just as the studio’s 2oth film, Ant-Man and the Wasp, hit theaters.
Captain Marvel stars Brie Larson in the title role and is being directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck. It was Fleck who shared the news via a snapshot of the final production day’s call sheet.

What really worries me about this film is that this one NEEDS to be great in order for Avengers 4 to be great. Clearly Carol Danvers’ role in Avengers 4 is crucial to the story and if it sucks then Avengers 4 could go down cause of it. Almost like how Iron Fist was awful and The Defenders first season was reliant on the Iron Fist’s storyline that it really dragged down the series as a whole. But it’s Marvel and they haven’t let us down fully before (besides The Dark World) so I have faith.
