Sometimes I think they’re pushing that more to create this notion that it hasn’t existed beforehand. People have this notion that Wonder Woman is the breakthrough strong female lead, but for me, it’ll always be Ripley & Sarah Connor (T2). That’s why I chuckled in Luke Cage season 2 when Cage & Misty referenced both after a one-armed Misty prepared & holstered her firearm.

“The Future is Female” I don’t think there are many phrases that can channel more disgust and annoyance from me. When will the libbies realize that it’s not “Blacks vs. Whites” or “Men vs. Women”? I was watching the previews for Vice in the movie theatre and a preview for Ms. Marvel showed. Half way through, my dad leaned over and asked: “Who is that?”
And my reply?
“No one important.”
