As the second-to-last film in the current era of the MCU, Captain Marvel will also give fans the chance to see a favorite character one more and perhaps last time on the big screen.
Agent Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) will appear in Captain Marvel. The character has been dead in the movies since The Avengers in 2012. He was revived for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. on television, which is technically MCU canon, but as far as almost everyone in the movies knows, Coulson is still dead.
