Dude, you’ve really gotta stop acting like you’re the authority on what good movies are. Pretty fuckin simple to just accept the fact that every single individual is entitled to say a movie is bad or not. It may not be how you feel about the film, but that doesn’t make your positive opinion any more correct than theirs. Given that a films’ creation is centered around creative writing everyone’s perception of the way a story in a film is written is going to be subjective.
If someone is disappointed with a film simply because it doesn’t meet their expectations that is a perfectly legitimate reason for someone to consider it a bad movie whether you or the critics fuckin like it or not. If I hate the Last Jedi for because I hate the direction they took Luke Skywalker in, and for unnecessarily killing him off… not to mention disliking the film just because it didn’t make me feel any sort of emotions at all and just seemed like a movie that goes through the motions than that’s all I need to say for you to realize that the film is shitty to me.
You can’t take someone’s opinion that the film is shitty and say that they’re wrong just because they didn’t meet your standard of explaining themselves. You can disagree, and sure, certain criticisms people make are flat out wrong… in which case you can correct them on something they missed and see if their opinion changes… and if it doesn’t they’re likely being a hater..
But to just bitch and say someone is wrong for thinking a movie sucks because the same thing that doesn’t bother you… bothers someone else is just on a whole other level of egotistical and insanity.
Thinking the two main Disney Star Wars films are shitty movies for certain creative decisions they’ve made, and for having a general lack of originality is a perfectly legitimate reason to consider the films bad.
I don’t really like either of the films. Neither of them were terrible, but comparing them to the Original Star Wars films which are the timeless classics… they’re pretty god damn unoriginal and weak in comparison…

Haven’t seen a single saber fight in ANY of Disney’s Star Wars films that comes ANYWHERE near the sheer epic heights of either of Luke and Darth Vader’s saber fights in ESB or ROTJ.
People say that Disney found the magic that was present in the original Star Wars films but… to anyone that pays attention to details… they’ve failed on so many levels.
To anyone that just looks at a rotten tomato score and buys into the fanboy hype and hops on the train to go along for the ride… the new Disney Star Wars films are magical again.

I believe you guys actually like the movies, I’m just clearly missing what is so great about them.
I don’t think you’re wrong for liking the films, but I’m allowed to believe that your bar for what makes a great Star Wars film is much lower than my own. I know some of you go the theater, if the film makes you laugh a couple times, if it takes itself somewhat serious… it’s a good movie.
I’m not that easily impressed. If I’m gonna give something a great review score, it has to actually wow me.
