The Walt Disney Company is enjoying the success of Black Panther and paying it forward. The company is making a $1 million donation to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America in support of the organization’s youth STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) programs.

Black Panther has been a cultural and box office phenomenon. Shuri (Letitia Wright) has been a breakout star in the film thanks to her mastery of Wakanda’s Vibranium-based technology. Hopefully, the character will inspire real-life kids to study, excel, and eventually work in STEM.
