Disney CEO leaves the door open for R-rated Marvel movie brand, including Deadpool

For the past several weeks, many have wondered what Disney’s now officially announced purchase of Fox would mean for R-rated Marvel movies like Deadpool. The assumption has been that Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds) and others would head for PG-13 pastures, but that may not ultimately be the case.

In a conference call with investors, Disney CEO Bob Iger confirmed that more Deadpool is on the way and R-rated Marvel movies are not off the table.
