On today’s first quarter earnings call, Disney CEO Bob Iger reiterated Disney’s interest in Deadpool as an R-rated franchise. Iger has been saying as much since the Disney-Fox deal was announced in December 2019. Today, Iger says that interest could expand beyond the Merc with a Mouth.
