As Doctor Strange continues to rake it in all over the world, Marvel’s latest has made history as the highest grossing first solo installment in the MCU. The Sorcerer Supreme’s first big-screen outing has now amassed $616 million globally, beating the studio’s other single-character debuts, Iron Man ($585M), The Incredible Hulk ($263M), Thor ($450M), Captain America: The First Avenger ($370M), and Ant-Man ($519M).
Remember the headlines when Batman v Superman and SS made money ? “America’s honest earned money went to this crap” or “This movie earned such-and-such, which means you didn’t read our reviews. Here, read them again!”
