Today is a special day in the hearts of comic book fans all over the world, as it is the 100th birthday of Jack “King” Kirby. Evangeline Lilly marked the occasion by sharing an in-costume photo of her titular character in Ant-Man and the Wasp. We saw the Wasp costume in 2015’s Ant-Man, but this is the first official image of Lilly wearing it.
Kirby, who passed away in 1994, co-created the Wasp and many other characters with fellow Marvel legend Stan Lee. Many of the people who’ve worked with Kirby’s co-creations, which also include Hulk and Captain America, have taken the time to honor “The King” today.

It looks good, though I just want to vent for a second:
If this costume had the DCEU stamp on it, fans would’ve bitched and moaned about it not being comic book accurate. Hell, if I didn’t read the headline, I would’ve thought that I was looking at a SHIELD agent.-
EXACLTY! Looks too much like a SHIELD agent, i think its the colors and the new sleeves, honestly the one that they teased at the end of the first movie was perfect.

Marvel is taking a step back with their suits. First Black Panther, now this? Honestly this looks like they used a Netflix budget for this one.
